BIAPWS has organised regular symposia, since 1995, on topics associated with the properties of water and steam and their applications, particularly to the operation of power generation plant. A recent initiative has been to expand the symposia to include workshop sessions on specific technical topics. The next symposium and workshop is planned to take place in 2009. Further details will appear on this site together with a facility to register on-line.
